Here at Tampa Electric we know that people are unique and there is no one-size-fits-all way to pay your electric bill. We want to make this chore simple and easy for everyone. Whether you like to set things up on automatic pilot or prefer to write that check and lick that envelope every month, there’s definitely a payment option for you.

Tampa Electric offers the following choices. Just click on the link for more information. Maybe you’ll discover a new method you’d like to try.

e-Bill

Receive and pay your bill online with e-Bill — it’s fast, secure and FREE!

e-Bill: View and pay your electric bill online for free. It’s easy, fast and secure! You choose the amount to pay, date to pay, and payment method through a checking or savings account. Each month, we’ll notify you via email when your bill is ready for viewing. When you receive your electronic bill, you can log into e-Bill and make a payment. Through e-Bill, you can either pay with Discover, Visa, MasterCard, debit card or from a bank account. If you pay from your checking or savings account, it is free.

Just Pay It® Online or By Phone: Make an electronic payment as often as you like with Just Pay It®, and still receive your paper bill. Just Pay It charges a $4.95 convenience fee per $500 transaction. Tampa Electric receives no portion of these fees. Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express or electronic checks are accepted for all customers. Pay online or call 1-866-300-3069 to make a payment by phone.

Automatic Bank Draft: Automatic Bank Draft allows you to pay your electric bill every month without the chore of writing a check and mailing your bill payment. You will continue to receive a bill that shows your usage, the amount due and when your payment will be deducted from your bank account. The amount due will automatically be deducted from your bank account on the delinquent date of the bill.

Payment Locations: Pay your bill at an authorized payment agent such as a local convenience store or merchant near you. Some payment agents have extended business hours. Some vendors charge a service fee per transaction. Please check the list on our website to determine fee status. Tampa Electric receives no portion of any fees. Find a payment agent in your area.

Online Payment with Your Bank: Pay your bill using your bank’s online payment service. Most financial institutions offer online bill payment. When making your payments through this service, please note it may take up to 2 to 3 business days for Tampa Electric to receive the payment.

By Mail: Remit payment to: Tampa Electric Company, PO Box 31318, Tampa, FL 33631-3318. For your convenience, an addressed return envelope is included with your paper bill.
